VU Theology concrete and exemplary: The celebration of the sacraments
Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Sabine Konrad & ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Weirer

Wednesday, SR 47.14 von 13:30-15:00 Uhr

These are the most important and significant moments in someone’s religious life: the celebration of baptism, the confirmation, the Eucharist, penance, Anointing of the Sick, marriage and the rite of ordination. Every theological field of expertise deals with the seven sacraments from its own perspective and methodology. In this course the sacraments will be examined from both a canonical and religious didactical point of view. It is crucial for the validity of the sacraments that during the administration certain legal requirements are fulfilled. In addition, one has to make preparations according to the individual situation of the recipient. All these aspects are important and can be linked with each other.
